Depicts an expedition route from Djibouti in French Somaliland to Lake Rudolf (Rudolf jezero), with larger scale mapping along the Omo River valley.'risao i sastavio: Mirko Seljan Brusselj 1903' (Drawn and assembled: Mirko Seljan, Brussels, 1903). From surveys completed 1899-1902.In Croatian, with German translation in a different hand. Covers an area of the Omo River valley extending approximately 280 miles north-eastwards from Lake Rudolf; detail extends further on the east bank than the west. Portrays hydrology, relief by form lines and hill shading, roads, settlements, camps, elephant habitats, place names and tribal names.Sheets titled 'Schankalla plemena' [Schankalla tribe] and 'Olamu plemena' [Olamu tribe]; also titled 'Karte Nr. I' and 'Karte II' respectively in the hand of the German translator, although no equivalent appears in Croatian.
